VISION

 

The vision for the Georgia Mountains region is to promote and provide employment, training, and rehabilitation opportunities to the citizens of the Georgia Mountains area. This will be achieved through the following goals:

1. To enhance the workforce development system that has been created to dramatically upgrade individuals, workplace skills, economically benefiting the workforce, employers and the State of Georgia;

 

2. To continue to eliminate unwarranted duplication of services, reduce administrative costs, and enhance participation and performance of customers served through a quality driven system;

 

3. To provide a cooperative working relationship, to facilitate joint planning and evaluation of services, and to develop more efficient management of limited financial and human resources. To foster and facilitate a true no wrong door approach to services;

 

4. To provide universally accessible information for the general population with wide and easy access to a comprehensive array of information in a variety of formats.
